ATutoring educators are licensed and certified. We tailor a plan to help each student acquire the skills needed to improve school performance and overall learning. Our educators utilize teaching strategies that lead to your child’s academic success.
ATutoring educators work with all ages across all academic areas, including intervention and subject-matter tutoring: Reading, Writing, Math, Science; study skills, organizational skills, and test prep: HSPT, ISEE, PSAT, ACT, SAT.
ATutoring services include specialized areas such as Early Childhood Education, Autism Spectrum disorder, Kindergarten Readiness, Orton-Gillingham reading instruction, K-12 tutoring, and Advanced Placement classes.
ATutoring is approved by the Ohio Department of Education as a Private Provider for the Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) and the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship program (JPSN).
About Academic Tutoring
Amy Hebert, M.Ed., has improved students’ academic success for more than 20 years. After graduating the University of Cincinnati with a Master’s degree in Education, Amy worked at a local school working with students with learning disabilities.
Upon gaining years of hands-on experience, Amy continued working with children by starting her own tutoring and handwriting curriculum business, Academic Tutoring, LLC and Write-On Handwriting, LLC, respectively. Write-On Handwriting is sold nationwide and globally through the App Store.
Currently, Academic Tutoring serves over 80 students in the Greater Cincinnati area. Amy coordinates with parents to understand the needs of their child. With a highly talented and subject and skill area diverse staff, Amy pairs the student with the gifted educator.
